Meet The Stage Reading Cast

Kevin Hoffman Jr. (MOMOTARŌ) is a member of The Group Rep at the Lonny Chapman Theatre, and most recently produced the company's now-running musical 'Avenue Q.'
He was also most recently seen in "A Carol Christmas" and "All My Sons" at the Group Rep.
Danielle Miyazaki (HŌSEKI) is thrilled to be part of this charming original production! She holds a BM Vocal Performance from Chapman University, and is pursuing a license in Music Therapy. Recent performances include Peep-Bo in The Mikado (Hawaii Performing Arts Festival), Suzanne in A Christmas Carol (Glendale Center Theatre), and Pirates of Penzance (Glendale Center Theatre). Paul Cady (KYŪJO-SHA) has musical directed and has appeared in many show’s as an actor/ singer as well. Most recently, Paul musical directed and played the lead role of Bill Medley Sr in That Lovin Feelin at the Group Rep Theatre. Other credits include Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat, Al in A Chorus Line at Casa Manana In Fort Worth, Johnny Brown in The Unsinkable Molly Brown in San Diego Starlight Theatre, Simeon/Baker in Joseph..Technicolor Dreamcoat in Santa Barbara, Samuel in the national tour of The Pirates of Penzance and Captain John Smith in The Spirit of Pocahontas for Disneyland.
Keiko Clark (HAHA) is a native of Tokyo, Japan Keiko is excited to be part of this inspiring project! Most recently, she sang the title role of Madame Butterfly in LA’s Pacific Opera Project, and Houston's Opera in the Heights. Ms. Clark’s repertoire includes the title roles of Juliette in Roméo et Juliette, and Luciain Lucia di Lammermoor. She's performed the lead roles of Tuptim in King and I, Constanza and Blonde in The Abduction from the Seraglio, Norina in Don Pasquale, and Madame Goldentrill in The Impresario. She's also performed multiple renditions of the menacing Queen of the Night in The Magic Flute.
Jennifer Strattan (RIN-JIN) is currently playing Sister Mary Amnesia in Nunsense at the Glendale Centre Theatre. Past credits include Princess Winnifred in Once Upon a Mattress, Little Red Riding Hood in Into the Woods and Shirley Markowitz in The Producers.
LLOYD PEDERSEN (EVIL OGRE) has been a member of The Group Rep since 2004. He has appeared in the Regional and National Tours: eLove, H.M.S. Pinafore, Second Thoughts, Kiss Me Kate, The Music Man, Amadeus, and In The Boom Boom Room (w/Julie Newmar); among others. Film and television include "November Son, Unsolved Mysteries, Scorned and Swindled, Lucky/Chances, What’s Cooking?" and Tony Tanner’s NY short film festival winner, "What’s So Funny?"
ANDREW GRIGORIAN (INU SUPPOTTO) has been in various Los Angeles productions, including, but not limited to: A Dicken's Christmas Carol, All My Sons, A Midsummer Night's Dream, and A Cat On A Hot Tin Roof (Lonny Chapman Theatre); Wizard of Oz, The King and I (Glendale Center Theatre)l and The Last Waltz (Theatre 40). His is very excited at the opportunity of being a cast member for the Stage Reading.
NOI MAESHIGE (HANGU) is a senior at the Orange County School of the Arts where she studies Musical Theatre. She has been in shows including Jasper in Deadland (Cerberus), Johari’s Window (Harri) and Nadeshiko (Taisuke). She is thrilled to be able to bring her childhood favorite fairy tale to life and thanks Hisato and Tony for the opportunity.
BECCY QUINN (KIJI): Beccy has been at The Group Rep Theatre for almost a year, and has loved every minute. She's excited to be a part of Peach Boy, and looks forward to watching it blossom.
DOUG HAVERTY (Host/Stage Directions) is a playwright, librettist, actor and graphic artist. He has been a member of Group Rep since 1982. His play, IN MY MIND’S EYE had its world premiere at Group Rep in October 1984 and is published by Samuel French. His musical (co-written with Adryan Russ), INSIDE OUT, opened Off Broadway at The Cherry Lane and has a re-mastered and re-released Off-Broadway Cast recording on Kritzerland Records.
